Visit to Marineland on December 11, 2008

Thursday December 11, 2008
Called Maura a friend who works at the Dolphin Centre at Marineland and she invited us to come and see the Dolphins. It was a good day to sight see as it was pouring rain. It started in the morning and kept it up all day. We arrive at Marineland and were given a behind the scenes tour. There were no tourist there and Maura introduced us to all the Dolphins. There were two there who were swimming together and she said they were 55 years old. Apparently they only live to be 25 in the wild. We then headed out to get our provisions for the trip to the Bahamas and stored up can goods and fuel for the stove. After eating a Turkey Dinner at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant we headed back to the Condo and I had some time to sew before turning in for the night. Tonight is the last night with Mom and Dad and tomorrow we will pack up and head back to Palm Coast.
