Reno on House to Rent

Dick and I decided to freshen up the livingroom and hall floor with a fresh layer of urethane to make it look good for the renters. As of March 31, 2008 we have a family that is planning to move in and that is great news. The good news is there lease is up in August so we don't have to get all the boat and house provisions done at the same time. So happy about that. Second project to follow.

New Cushions for Grace C

This is our new prop that we bought on the Nepean Yacht Club garage sale the day after our new grandbaby was born. Hope fully it will be an improvement to the momentum when we are forging those currents and tides.

Winter Project

High up a ladder off the transom anyone who is brave enough to climb up will discover the engine and all its part and tools spread all over the interior. The white stuff on the floor is snow that has blow in. There is really no competition for the space at this point. It is all "his" for now.

The New Head for Grace C.

What started with a glow plug has ended up with a fully restored engine head and what a paint job. That is what you get when the mechanic is an artist. Stand by for the test run. We cannot test it until the boat goes in the water. That will be the first week-end in May.
I give it a 10 for artistic impression.

I thought I would add a little flare to this posting. Orange is one of the stripes on the side of the hull. It also is in our spinnaker.

The New Bimini

This is our new bimini that Dick found on the Ericson website and we were able to connect with the gentleman that we bought it from in Kingston and now we have a Bimini which is so exciting because it means I only have to sew a dodger.
