Blessed Thanksgiving
Rose early to shower and breakfast before heading out to church with Josh and Karin and Elyssa. We had found a church on line in Cape May and the advertised service said 9:30 a.m. When we got there the sign said 10:30 so we headed to Walmart and Starbucks to kill some time. When we returned to the Bible Fellowship Church we were four of six other people who were in attendance. Apparently a local soccer tournament had claimed some parishioners. We had a chance to chat after service and learned a few more tourist tips about Cape May. After lunch the guys went for a sail and Karin and I headed to the beach and Lighthouse on the tip. We arrived at the Victorian Estate for a tour but were 5 minutes to late. We went to pick up some chicken and stove top stuffing. With Mom Foster's spice graped jelly and the mashed potatoes and gravy we had a bang up Thanksgiving Dinner on board. Elyssa was a joy all day and hung in for all the fun. When Poppa and Josh headed to the grocery store for dessert she fell asleep and didn't wake up when they got back. What a blessed day.

Thanks for the update on this wonderful day. We had a great day with our guests from out of town which included Mike and Dee and Hadassah and Nethaneil as well as a missionary with his family and Andrew and Kerry and his parents.

Shirley said - It sounds like a great time was had by all. We had a lovely dinner with Rosie, Jim, her Mom and Stan, Cody and his new girl lindsay - they are sharing an apartment. The house is officially off the market and we have booked our condo in Florida - the same one as last year - maybe you will be in New Smyrno when we are there. Love to all

Arrived safely home from the cottage about 5pm. Had a good time as I am sure you folks had. Isn't Elyssa a little doll--can't believe she will soon be 1 year old. Hang in , keep safe. Love mom and dad
I'm glad to hear that you had a great thanksgiving with family and friends. No one deserves it more. I've been following your blog with wonder about all you have been through on this trip. What a ride!

Hi folks: Sounds like you and Dick are having the times (good, bad and ugly) of your (abundant) life. Oh the courage ....
That Elyssa is a cutie puttuti. Can't wait to see them next month. will be dropping in on them on my way to montreal.
Have been sewing up a storm. Can't believe i have the bug. went out and bought a credenza so i could just put the stuff away in the dining room when company comes for dinner. saves carting everything to the basement. lol.
Phil and Becca got engaged on Sat. so they all had thanksgiving dinner with wendy and brian and Aunty Linda. So we had a quiet but lovely dinner here with Stef and Jess, Nadine and Aaron and the kids. They are so cute and good. What a blessing, eh Nana?
Anyway take care, looking forward to the next edition. love you both,
payers, Jane xoxo
