Monday - off to retrieve the Mast

Left Waterford around 9:00 am after Dick changed the 25 hour old Transmission Fluid. Opps the o ring was in the bottle he had just extracted. Back into the hold to redo. The others were anxious to get on the way because we had to do 37 miles today to get to the Riverview Marine to get our mast. What a change of scenery on the Hudson. Lots of work boats and cities and beautiful homes. The channel is clearly marked but I was glad I grabbed the cell phone to contact the Marina because by the time we got here it was low tide and 2 boats went aground on their approach. He did not know we were the third boat and he was saying we were going to go aground. Dick seems to get all this in stride but a little screaming from me and we made it in safe. Regrets to Nice Butt for not knowing where the heck to tell them to go.
