We slept in abit this morning and Dick was concerned about the current but we made it to Marlboro by 2:00 pm. After 6 days on a hook we were desperate for showers and apparently the Marlboro Yacht Club does not offer that so we came to the West Shore Marina. Not the best place for transient boater. The showers are very basic, definately not adequate for members of the female sex. It is a boat yard and fisherman kind of place.
We walked up to the town. I do mean up. It was so wonderful to be on dry land. The fragrances and the forest trees on the side of the mountain. The grocery store is a Deli Market and there is not to many businesses open on a Monday. It is hard to believe we will be heading to Riverview Marina tomorrow to get the mast taken down.

How great to get your good progress report--Albany here we come. Will it take long to demast? We have survived the party but it was a wonderful day with loads of happy memories!. Can't send the picture till someone shows me how but thanks for a great gift--I'll learn the button pushing bit soon.
Congrats on making it to the Hudson! What great progress!
shirley said - WOW!! you are whistling right along, keep it up and you may be in time to join us at Maggies for our 60th on the 16th. Went to Bowanville yesterday and took Susie out for lunch - she is on medication and realizes it is a lifetime thing, so we will keep our fingers crossed. Glad the ocean stuff is behind you - I'm a worry wart!!!
