First Day
We woke up about 8:00 am and headed down stairs for the continental breakfast. The accommodation is full and we had to wait for a seat. A couple from Germany offered us a seat but only the father spoke English. Their 18 month old daughter only speaks German. Dick checked the weather and the fact that the pier is still no open put a kibash on going to see the Noods. Instead we headed to Dunedin as they have a craft festival on. We washed the car and were so happy to get all the salt off. The craft sale was huge and covered the Main Street downtown area. We picked up some books for the girls from the author and were thrilled to see a potter performing his craft. He had a raku piece which we bought to take home. We stopped at a Publix on the way home and got a Rotissiere chicken some vegetables and ate in our room. The weather was 21 and above all day so not to warm just what I call perfect for walking and shopping.
