We headed out at 4:00 am with a light slick of snow on the roads. By the
time we got to Windsor we were on dry pavement. We missed the I75
turn off at Detroit and so lost about a half hour figuring our way
back. Great opportunity to see downtown Detroit and all the lights.
By the time I got a map out and checked out the route, I realized you
can connect with the interstate on either 96 or 94 you just have to
head south on the first freeway you come to.
My favourite part of the drive was North Carolina on the way to
Asheville.
Tonight
we are back at Spartanburg, South Carolina at the Super 8.
Nice to have the Grandkids to share our trip with.
